Inspired by the unwavering commitment of Dan Markow, to making a profound difference, our foundation pledges to utilize every contribution received from his Sterling companies, collectively known as The Markow Companies Inc, to uplift and develop the lives of these children and families. Along with our principal focus, The Markow Family Foundation proudly builds upon the historical and current efforts of the Sterling Companies. In addition to our commitment to children, we actively engage in initiatives such as food drives, fundraising for veterans, contributing to local organizations for cancer research, organizing blood drives, and extending support to other causes in line with our core mission. To further our mission, we seek collaborations with organizations that champion the causes of children facing various adversities. With the International Soccer Club Pro UPSL season underway I just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Daniel Markow, Jerry Markow, Sterling Corporation, and The Markow Family Foundation for their continued support of International Soccer Club and our dream of continuing Manny Barbosa's legacy by providing kids of every age and background the ability to play the game we love at a high level for a reasonable expense. Along with Sterling Corporation, the foundation will be hosting a blood drive on May 16 at our headquarters located at 20 Industrial Ave, Chelmsford, MA. Started in 2016 as a way to show support for one of our valued employees, the tradition continues as a show of support for the wider community. With a shelf life of only 42 days, donating blood is important for many reasons. On behalf of The Markow Family Foundation, Sterling’s President, Dan Markow, will run in the Boston Marathon as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge on April 15, 2024. The challenge began in 1990 with a team of 19 runners and today has over 500 participants dedicated to raising funds to fight cancer.
