Cat-Cow Stretch: Gently mobilize your spine by alternating between arching (Cow) and rounding (Cat) your back while on all fours. 2?? Child’s Pose: Stretch your lower back and hips by sitting back onto your heels with arms extended forward. 3?? Seated Forward Bend: From a seated position, reach toward your toes to stretch your hamstrings and lower back. 4?? Pelvic Tilts: Lie on your back with knees bent and slowly rock your pelvis forward and back to release tightness in the lower spine. 5?? Figure 4 Stretch: While lying down, cross one ankle over the opposite knee and gently pull the bent leg toward you to stretch the hips and glutes. As we prepare to welcome the New Year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the special moments of 2024. For me, this year felt like a blink, but it was filled with so much love, adventure, and joy. The highlight was Drew’s beautiful Labor Day weekend wedding to his best friend, Victoria, in the Smoky Mountains. My kids, Drew and Jenna, explored Europe together, creating magical memories. This year also reminded me of the power of simple joys. Weekly visits to the Botanic Garden, a new improv class, spotting hummingbirds, or savoring a morning cup of tea—all added up to moments of peace and gratitude.
