PMP and Energy Market Leader Van Defibaugh, PE, PMP, LEED AP, the team is currently focused on the energy and agriculture markets - but they welcome new work in all business sectors. In addition to Stacy and Van, the MEP Group includes Charlie Cook, Nathan Stoller, Aaron Parsons, EI, Jeffrey Pulter, Rachel Young, Hans Rosebrock, Debbie Robertson, Doug Smith PE, PMP, and Todd Lovely. Team members are located across Michigan and Ohio and provide design services regardless of geographic location. We've added this group to better serve our clients. Providing MEP engineering in-house means we can offer our clients a more comprehensive experience. Jeffrey Pulter represented MSG at the IEE IAS-PCIC Technical Conference in Orlando, Florida. This event, organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Industry Applications Society (IAS) and the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC), brings together electrical professionals to focus on electrical installations, operations, and safety. Hans Rosebrock attended the American Municipal Power Inc. conference which included legislative updates, panel discussions and presentations by industry leaders. The conference helps our team stay up-to-date on issues and technologies affecting municipal systems, local government and the electric utility industry in general. Hans is MSG's Director of Power Energy Systems and supports our energy clients throughout the region. Hans spent nearly 28 years with FirstEnergy Corp with a focus on economic development and assisting industrial customers with electric service capital investments. He frequently assisted with rate studies, electric circuit capacity and reliability data and facilitating engineering solutions for projects. Six Trilon Group sister firms came together in Rockford, Illinois, for a meeting aimed at building relationships and sharing best practices. Hosted by Fehr Graham, attendees from DRMP, CPH, Fuss & O'Neill, Horrocks and The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. discussed topics such as grant writing, funding, Department of Transportation prequalifications, data management, federal contracting, climate resiliency and emerging contaminants. As the site host, Fehr Graham also led a walking tour showcasing key environmental projects around Rockford. This productive gathering is a testament to the power of collaboration in driving innovation and growth across our industry. MSG is excited to welcome Brooke Conkle to the Human Resources team as an HR Generalist and Detroit Office Manager. This is a new role for our MSG City of Detroit office and Brooke will provide both business and culture-related support for our local team members. “Adding Brooke to our team brings a new layer of camaraderie and connection for our Detroit staff. We’re looking forward to seeing her develop this new role,” said Hervé H. Leonard, MPA, Detroit Market Leader. With more than six years of experience in the HR field, Brooke has previously held the following roles: HR Call Center Specialist, Human Resources Coordinator, HIPAA Coordinator, and HR Business Partner. Brooke has moved around a few times over the years. She was born in Cincinnati, raised in the Detroit suburbs, spent her high school years in the Chicago suburbs, then returned to Cincinnati in 2015. Recently, Brooke officially moved “home” to the Detroit suburbs. Our marketing and business development team leaders gathered with their peers from the Trilon Group to share best practices amongst the family of companies. Thirteen firms from NY to Florida, Oregon to Arizona and all points in-between gathered in Detroit, Michigan. The goal? To build relationships and share knowledge around pursuits, onboarding, social media, communications and business development. Special guest Denise Dahl, MPA of Epiphany Consulting presented a workshop on authentic and vulnerable leadership. As part of our social time, the group took a trolly tour around the City of Detroit with Aric Bennett and Hervé H. Leonard. It's exciting to see the revitalization of the Motor City! The group also took in a Detroit Tigers' game! Our teams are thankful for the opportunity to take a step back from the day-to-day and think strategically about our operations.
