Congratulations Rakshith Subramanyam!
One of the worst decisions I’ve ever made? Rejecting Rakshith Subramanyam's resume… In 2017, while recruiting the initial talent for a skunkworks lab that would become The Luminosity Lab, I quickly passed on Rakshith’s application without much of a second thought. The next week, he showed up at my lab and asked to meet. We went on a walk that I will never forget. As we spoke, Rakshith convincingly articulated why he was the ideal fit for our team. The tenacity, confidence, and unwavering dedication he demonstrated during that conversation were exactly the qualities I sought in building a ‘skunkworks’ culture. Rakshith became a founding member of Luminosity, quickly distinguishing himself as one of our top researchers and implementers. His relentless pursuit of excellence and innovative thinking propelled our projects forward in ways I hadn’t anticipated. Over the years, he remained a cornerstone of our lab, earning his master's and recently defending his PhD at ASU. His research has always been ahead of its time and has been focused on the intersection of generative AI and knowledge graphs. His unique expertise makes him the perfect fit for the pioneering work we are doing at Primer to drive adaptive, personalized learning at scale. I am thrilled to announce that Rakshith has joined the Primer team to spearhead our AI research and ensure that we remain on the bleeding edge of innovation. Welcome to the team, Rakshith, here’s to breaking new ground together.
