She has been so brave, facing chemo every day, but this journey has been incredibly tough. As a single mom unable to work due to my own health issues, it’s hard to make ends meet. I want to give all of my kids a wonderful Christmas, especially Aday, who has endured so much. We spent months in the hospital, away from her siblings, and while it’s been hard, I am grateful to have her here with me." Every donation brings joy and comfort to families like Aday's. Our Family Picnic in the Park was such a special day, filled with laughter, connection, and support among truly incredible families. With games, crafts, and delicious food, we shared not only fun but also stories of resilience, strength, and hope. This gathering reminded us that we're not alone on this journey. Meet Clare, an inspiring little girl whose life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in June 2018 at just 2 years old. This rare and aggressive brain tumor affects only 150 to 300 children in the U.S. each year. Clare’s journey has been nothing short of miraculous, from her conception with a 3% chance of being born, to now being 7 years old and continuing to defy the odds. DIPG carries a heartbreaking survival rate, with 90% of children losing their lives within two years of diagnosis. But Clare's spirit is as strong as ever, proving that miracles do happen. ??? She reminds us to embrace life’s precious moments and believe in hope, even when the odds seem impossible. Together, we can continue to shower Clare with love, positivity, and support as she bravely beats the odds.
