? Bringing Pediatric Touch Therapy to Stanford Medicine & Lucile Packard Children's Hospital! The Liddle Kidz? Foundation had the honor of working with Stanford’s brilliant healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive Pediatric Massage & Touch Therapy Program! ?? Over 75 healthcare professionals completed two intensive Pediatric Massage Therapy Certification (CPMT?) cohorts, exploring how touch therapy supports children with complex medical needs, cancer, hematologic conditions, palliative care needs, and gastroenterology concerns by providing comfort, reducing pain, and easing anxiety. Tina Allen, Founder & Director of Liddle Kidz? Foundation, spent the week at Stanford: ? Collaborating with Stanford leaders to implement a sustainable, hospital-based pediatric touch therapy Program. ? Training and certifying Stanford’s dedicated medical professionals to integrate pediatric touch therapy into patient care. ? Presenting research on the benefits of pediatric massage for children with complex medical conditions. ? Designing research studies to demonstrate its impact in hospital settings.
