The final day of Leading Luxury 2024 celebrated the collaboration of the world's top MICE partners and Leading Hotels. The Leading Hotels of the World kicked off the productive day with a thinktank session where Leading Hotels and planners met to discuss the challenges and trends in today's industry: contract negotiations, budget vs pricing, and AI's role in events. In the afternoon, attendees rode gondolas to an awe-inspiring mountain-top lunch, hosted by the region's Auvergne-Rh?ne-Alpes Tourisme. From there, many guests embarked on exhilarating destination activities which included rafting and e-biking. A farewell gala took place at Evian Resort's MICHELIN-starred restaurant, Les Fresques. Attendees enjoyed an outstanding three-course meal before ending the night with a lively soireé featuring live music and the announcement of next year's host hotel for Leading Luxury 2025. The second day of Leading Luxury 2024 immersed guests in the wonders of Lake Geneva. The day began with an insightful welcome session by Thierry Dal Magro of Evian Resort and Dean Bannon of The Leading Hotels of the World followed by 1-to-1 business development meetings between LHW's top MICE partners and representatives from 26 Leading Hotels. Guests deepened their relationships in an afternoon filled with the destination's most exclusive activities: a historic city tour and wine cheese tasting at Buvette Cachet followed by a delightful lunch at Terrasse du Baron and a private visit to the stunning Villa Lumière. The evening brought guests to Lausanne with a scenic boat ride across Lake Geneva to the renowned Beau-Rivage Palace . Under the hotel's gilded ceilings, guests were treated to a one-of-a-kind aperitif performance and cultural dinner. The day concluded with a toast in the hotel’s spectacular Grand Salon, where the beautiful, vaulted ceilings and hand-painted touches of 19th century craftsmanship immersed guests in H?tel Royal’s noble history.
