In a few short months, the decisions and actions made by the next administration will have generational implications–not for just two or four years, but for decades to come. We must summon the courage to dream bigger to create a generational vision of collective care and belonging that will also have profound, far-reaching impact. We need a vision for the next 25 years—not just a reactionary response. This moment calls for shared imagination, focus, and heart that cuts across traditional silos and ecosystems of social impact, such as philanthropy, nonprofits, social enterprise, policy advocacy, movement spaces, interfaith-based initiatives, etc. It asks us to hold space for the hardest questions, curiosity, introspection—not to rush for answers, but to sit with the humility of not having them all. We must pause, listen deeply, and tend to the soil so we can grow something radically different. This is also a time for moral clarity and creativity—a bias towards action that is anchored in love and fueled by the anticipation of what our collective strength can produce. Although money alone cannot be our guide, philanthropy must show up to engage in longterm, flexible, experimental resourcing and with a learning orientation. Finally, we must continue to invest boldly in the most historically under-resourced leaders and organizations who are most proximate to the challenges and opportunities of this moment—the true architects of change. At the LeadersTrust, we are committed to this challenge of radically reimagining and building a different path forward with you. We know that this time, it must be collective. Let’s do things differently. Together. Will you join us?
关于我们
The LeadersTrust believes that a deep investment in the leadership and organizational capacity of change makers is critical for success. By delivering responsive, long-term, high-touch investment in the people at the heart of organizations, we unlock the radical imagination and inherent power of leaders, organizations, and movements to achieve transformative change. We dream of a world that is loving, equitable, joyful and just that celebrates the interdependence and individuality of communities and allows people to be healthy, safe, and whole. We believe it is our duty to protect our planet, our democracy, and our people. Winning the transformative, structural changes we need requires a deep belief and investment in people, organizations, and their collective power. Our work builds a social change eco-system that is rooted in trust, where resources are invested more equitably, power is shared, and agents of change have the capacity, connections, and investment they need to reach their goals and thrive.

Whole Communities Project is proud to announce our magazine “HOME is where the LOVE is”. Launched in the Fall of 2023, the Whole Communities Project is a collaboration between the Center For Third World Organizing, The Fund for Liberatory Practice launched by The LeadersTrust, and the Leadership Learning Community. Our mission is to connect liberation-centered leaders and organizations to life-affirming resources that support their emergence and sustainability in the work. To that end, we curate leadership development programs, funding, convenings, webinars, and communities of practice for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color leaders and practitioners. “HOME is where the Love is” magazine is for people firmly entrenched in their quest for liberation and adamant about bringing their formations and communities along. In it, you will find in-depth stories from leaders within the Whole Communities Project ecosystem and their offerings on how to deepen your commitment to liberatory leadership. We also provide tools and resources to support you on your path. LCF is proud to see our Latino Nonprofit Accelerator recognized as a sector model! Thank you to The LeadersTrust for lifting up the critical importance of fundraising. Over the past decade, we’ve consistently heard from our leaders that fundraising challenges keep them up at night. Our Accelerator was created in direct response to this urgent need. ?? Yes! It’s time to bring fundraising out from the shadows and into the spotlight where it belongs. So proud that we invested in capital campaigns & sabbaticals via the Latino Power Fund at the Latino Community Foundation. I will never forget making those emotional calls to our leaders... there were so many tears. We created the Latino Nonprofit Accelerator to give leaders the support they need to break free from the isolation & exhaustion of fundraising. Glad to see it being lifted up as a model. Thank you Linda Wood and everyone at the The LeadersTrust.

Imagine if philanthropy invested in nonprofit endowments, capital campaigns, and the infrastructure necessary to cultivate diverse and flexible revenue streams. What might be possible for our movements? At The LeadersTrust, we believe in the power of accompaniment—walking side by side with BIPOC and grassroots leaders who are pioneering social change. They’re currently at their limit, desperate for a new funding model. Check out our latest report—a culmination of collective learning and listening. We know we have to do things differently and we should be experimenting together. Are you interested in being part of a space to re-image, co-create, and innovate how we fund.
