So much energy and enthusiasm in one room! Last Thursday, WGL Energy decided to add some fun and philanthropy to their Town Hall meeting in Tysons Corner, VA. The Ronald McDonald House Charities? of Greater Washington, DC (RMHCDC) joined us onsite to receive 10 brand new bikes on behalf of the children they serve. Thank you Todd Sandford and Peter Ledig for trusting The Leaders Institute to add a memorable team building event into the mix! #buildabike #teambuilding #philanthropyevent

Thank you, AHV USA, for trusting The Leaders Institute with your team-building needs at your recent meeting in Arlington, TX. You came together and had a lot of fun building camaraderie amongst your team, but it was so much more than that... All because of you, children sheltering with their Moms at SafeHaven of Tarrant County got brand-new bicycles and a chance to feel like kids again. You all gave them hope and a sense of normalcy that every kid deserves. Carolyn Madson, thank you for trusting me with your team and allowing me to play a small part in this life-changing gesture to these children. They will never forget that people care about them and that life does get better. What a phenomenal way to spend the day! #csrevent #charityevent #buildabike #teambuilding

?? 200 KIDS GOT BRAND-NEW BIKES!!! Highstreet Insurance Partners?gathered in Austin, Texas, for their annual Agents of Change meeting this week and participated in Build-A-Bike ? for its company-wide focus on building resilient communities. Eruptive energy filled the ballroom as they networked, built camaraderie, and worked together to build 200 bikes for local kids across the city! The Austin Independent School District, represented by Michelle Wallis, attended the event and spoke afterward about their intent to use the bikes at the end of the school year to award students for perfect attendance and other achievements. ?? 200 KIDS WILL GET A BRAND NEW SET OF WHEELS ?? According to AISD Administrative Supervisor, Donor and Partner Relations, Lindsay Perlmutter: "Each year, we host a summer school program for 1000 students. Principals solicit bike donations for an attendance incentive. They usually only get 20 bikes to raffle off. "Our educators and students have a very tangible gift that shows the community really cares and values them. It is even more meaningful that it is from a company that has such a strong belief in supporting communities wherever they are." THIS is how you make a positive impact on your business and your community! Thank you,?Allison Beers?at?Events North,?for all of the work you poured into this initiative, for trusting me to lead this program, and for every single person who walked into the room ready to change lives forever. You are all heroes to these kids! It was a true honor for my team to serve you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping support the mission: Every Single Kid Deserves a Bike~ ?? ?? ?? ?? When you work for an organization that makes it possible for you to give back to children in need… That’s what the folks at Quality Technology Services, LLC are celebrating right now! During their bi-annual meeting to review 2024 and plan for the New Year, they wanted to cross-pollinate different parts of the business together and decided to participate in the popular CSR event, Build-A-Bike ? that would benefit local underprivileged kids in San Antonio, TX. ??♀???♂? They were a highly competitive group that worked seamlessly together but the ultimate winner were kiddos at Leaven Kids! Not only did the children who are a part of this program get a brand new bike, but also all of their siblings so that no child was left out. Over 50 bikes were donated to these amazing kids!!! ?????? A very rewarding experience for all involved! Thank you, Dave McOmber and Michael Grassmick for trusting me to facilitate your Build-A-Bike ? program and for allowing The Leaders Institute to be a part of this very special day. #csrevent #buildabike #leadership #teambuilding The Leaders Institute

Happy Friday, indeed! I’m so happy that I was invited to join the conclusion of the Summit 7’s all-company meeting. Because of Vincent Lombardo - he was able to surprise everyone with a fun team-building event! I had the best time facilitating our Build-A-Bike?? program with this crew. With their combined passion for philanthropy, this team will be donating 8 new bikes to local foster kids, just in time for Christmas! This meeting was important to be able to hone in on their core values, aligning with their motto to Protect the American Dream. I’m grateful to have gotten to experience their culture. A special thank you to Julie Reyburn for coming out on behalf of Kids to Love to accept and share about the impact. With their already existing partnership, it was a pleasure to help coordinate this donation for the children their organization serve. What a magical holiday this year will be ?????? Thank you all for teaming up with us at The Leaders Institute - looking forward to next time! ??

Alkami then donated the bikes to the Genesis Women's Shelter & Support, where Mothers and their children are temporarily living as they escape domestic violence. These precious babies will have something to smile about when they receive brand-new bikes as Christmas gifts from their Mothers, who got to pick them out from the shelter's holiday store. ?? BRAVO to all involved! Thank you, Cole McAllister, Nancy Leazer,?Megan Franz, Samantha Park, and every Alkami member who walked into the room ready to change lives forever!
