At the Larry H. Miller Company, our mission is to enrich lives, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to serve our community this holiday season. ? Today, hundreds of volunteers from across the Larry H. Miller organization gathered with community leaders at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City for the 26th annual Season of Service event. Volunteers served 5,000 traditional Thanksgiving meals to those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity, and community partners offered our guests various services, including dental cleanings, haircuts, pet care, menstrual products and more. ? “Our family has hosted this event for many years, and I look forward to it each season,” said Steve Miller, trustee of the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation and board chair of the Larry H. Miller Company. “Season of Service is more than providing a meal for one night; it’s about extending hope and light into our community. I’m proud to carry on this tradition, and I hope it inspires everyone to give back and remind those in need that they are not alone.” ? Thank you to our volunteers and community partners who spent the evening with us. We are honored to partner with you.

Today, the Larry H. Miller Company celebrated Diana Armitage, our custodial manager, who is retiring at 84 after 29 years of service. Diana first started at the Larry H. Miller Company in 1995, cleaning a Toyota dealership in Murray, Utah. She cleaned the building by herself six days a week. Our founder, Larry H. Miller, was so impressed with her work and attention to detail, and promoted her to oversee and manage the cleaning of multiple dealerships throughout the state. At the end of her career, she oversaw the cleaning and building management of the Jordan Commons campus in Sandy. In 2022, Diana was awarded the Larry H. Miller Values Award at our annual Who We Are event. Brad Holmes, president of Larry H. Miller Real Estate, presented Diana with the award and thanked her for her hard work and dedication. Thank you for helping us make the places Where Life Takes Place, Diana. Please enjoy a restful, well-earned retirement.

During #NationalDiabetesMonth, we’re proud to celebrate the impactful work of University of Utah Health’s Driving Out Diabetes Initiative, supported by the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation. This initiative empowers individuals and families across Utah with essential resources to prevent and manage diabetes, helping create healthier communities statewide. ? The Driving Out Diabetes Initiative offers a range of programs, including the Food Pharmacy—a prescription-based mobile pantry that uses “food as medicine” to support patients with nutrition-related diseases by increasing access to healthy foods and nutrition education. In 2024, the Food Pharmacy served over 250 individuals, and in 2025, it will open its first student-led clinic in the Rose Park neighborhood of Salt Lake City. ? The Wellness Bus is another key program within the initiative, providing mobile health screenings, coaching, and referrals to underserved communities across Utah. In 2024, the Wellness Bus screened over 380 individuals for pre-diabetes and diabetes, connecting them with resources for prevention and management. ?
