关于我们
The Karen Toffler Charitable Trust is a nonprofit foundation focused on early-stage research that advances the medical field in profound, high-impact ways. Tapping into the deep legacy of Alvin and Heidi Toffler, we exist to be a catalyst for future-focused breakthroughs. Our Toffler Scholar Program helps university medical researchers gain access to support and a network for often underfunded innovations. We work with agility and urgency to connect cutting-edge organizations, promising young researchers, and visionary investors. Together, we are a new kind of foundation that is fostering new ways of thinking and problem-solving to find solutions to humanity’s most difficult problems.

For the past four years, Deborah Westphal has spearheaded an initiative with the Karen Toffler Charitable Trust, aiming to equip early career researchers with the skills they need to navigate and lead in a rapidly changing world. By partnering with KTCT Scholar Universities, we conduct specialized workshops focused on future-focused thinking, transformational leadership, and innovative mental models needed to navigate advanced neurological research for future solutions of diseases of the brain. Our mission is to support the transformation of these talented individuals from students into the visionary leaders of tomorrow's research organizations. With new mental models that steadily consider human behavior and changing norms, leaders are able to ask the right questions to assess what beliefs and methods are relevant, which are out-of-date, which create risk, and which create future opportunities. If you are interested in hearing more about this initiative, please contact KTCT for more information.
