Stop scrolling, start selling: LinkedIn clinics (free!), checklists, training, and funnel strategy | Fractional CMO services (by a sales veteran) | Sales & marketing geek | Shameless over-deliverer and proud anti-scaler
This is not the type of LinkedIn tip you expect from me, but it may be my most valuable one yet. → Show up as an industry authority who is here to help. You're not here begging for business. You're not sleazy. Or pathetic. Or needy. You're here as an industry expert, ready to help others with exactly what they need. You have knowledge, skills, or a product/service that is incredibly valuable to specific people. You have something people are looking for. You are good at what you do. You can help people. Your content, engagement, and outreach: it's all simply the bridge between what you have and what they need. → Say this out loud before you write your next post or send that next message: "I have valuable knowledge or services that people want to hear about. I know what I'm talking about, and I'm here to help others." This mindset switch changed everything about how I show up on LinkedIn, on sales calls, and at networking events. I hope it does the same for you. #LinkedIn #Sales PS. So happy this conversation came up during the Q+A at my LinkedIn training yesterday for The JWE - The Jewish Woman Entrepreneur & Executive. Getting your head and heart in the right place is equally important to success as having the technical know-how. ____________________________________________________________________________ Check out my updated profile to join my next free monthly LinkedIn clinic. It’s a full-circle moment for us—that’s what it feels like when your program director moves on to a company that’s part of your own community. We’re excited for, yet sad to say goodbye to, Jenna Nelson Beltser, our talented program director, who has recently pivoted to join Fun and Function as their Growth Strategist. Here’s the fun part—Fun & Function is part of The JWE - The Jewish Woman Entrepreneur & Executive circle! If the company name rings a bell, it’s because their CEO, Aviva Weiss, took the stage at our 2019 Conference to share her insights on scaling up. While it’s bittersweet for The JWE, we couldn’t be more thrilled to watch a company in our network continue to grow, and to cheer on our beloved Jenna as she embraces this new challenge. As she moves on from The JWE, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for Jenna’s incredible contributions to the organization and for her unwavering support of Jewish women. During her time with us, Jenna orchestrated hundreds of workshops, webinars, in-person programs, and mentorship meetings. Even after her departure, she continued to support us as a volunteer, ensuring a smooth transition without missing a beat. Jenna truly embodies what it means to go above and beyond. Jenna’s passion and commitment to The JWE mission knows no bounds and we are deeply grateful for her support, friendship and commitment. Join us in sharing a sincere thank you and in cheering Jenna on in her next endeavor. Fun & Function is lucky to have you, Jenna—we can’t wait to see the magic you bring to new spaces! #thejwe
Today, we honor and remember the lives tragically lost in the brutal attacks of October 7th. We pray for the families mourning loved ones, for the injured to have a full recovery, and for the safe return of all hostages. Our thoughts are with the brave soldiers of the IDF who protect our people and land, and we pray for the safety of all Am Yisrael. ? For many, today is a hard and emotional day. However you feel, and however you choose to mark this day, it’s okay. Whether you attend a vigil or rally, light a yahrtzeit candle, gather with friends or family, join one of the many October 7th memorial events, meditate, volunteer, give charity, or do a mitzvah—remember, you are part of a tribe of proud Jewish women.? ? If you work in a non-Jewish environment, be kind to yourself and seek spaces where people understand what you’re going through. ? We are here for you today and always. If you need love, support, or just a space where people get it, reach out to us.? ? Am Yisrael Chai.

Happy American Business Women's Day!?Today I've been thinking about what it means to be part of the first generation of women truly embracing business leadership. As Gen Xers, we’re navigating uncharted territory, paving the way for future generations of women entrepreneurs. It’s important to acknowledge the challenges we face and teach the next generation what can be improved. Being a businesswoman isn’t all rainbows and unicorns—despite what social media might show. It takes grit, mental and physical stamina, and a strong support system. Owning your own business while raising a family isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. It’s tough, but incredibly rewarding. Let’s keep pushing boundaries, supporting each other, and creating a world where future generations of women can thrive in business and in life. Thank you, JWE Member Michal A. and TypoDuctions, for hosting The JWE Coffee Power Hour in Monsey! If you are interested in bringing a JWE event to your office or workspace, please reach out! What location should we meet in next?
WOW! It was even better than I imagined! The JWE - The Jewish Woman Entrepreneur & Executive Coffee Power Hour we hosted today at the TypoDuctions office in Monsey, was incredible! ?? We brought together an extraordinary group of working Jewish women from various industries, showcasing a rich tapestry of experiences and expertise. ?? It was truly inspiring to engage in conversations about common challenges we face, delve into the unique obstacles of different sectors, and share in some real talk about all the full-time work we women are privileged to do every day that we aren't getting paid for in dollars and cents??, but that is adding up where it counts! The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, making it the perfect environment for networking and building connections. ?? A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for making the Coffee Power Hour so memorable. Your insights and participation made it such a success. Thank you to The JWE for making this happen!
