One of the brothers, John Janik, had two sons; John and Ron. He wanted the company’s namesake to incorporate his son’s names but also noticed that there was a large Irish population in Niagara Falls that owned or frequented the local pubs. Instead of naming the company Johnnie Ronnie, he put an Irish twist on the two names to appeal to this segment of Niagara Falls. Johnnie Ryan was born!!
