The top three players in the final ranking will earn invitations to participate in THE JOHN SHIPPEN Men’s Invitational presented by Rocket. We are excited to announce the return of THE JOHN SHIPPEN for the 2025 season.? ? THE JOHN SHIPPEN National Women’s Invitational will take place on June 3-4 at Blythefield Country Club. The winner will receive an exemption to compete in the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give (June 12–15) and will also gain entry into the Dow Championship, scheduled for June 26–29 in Midland, Michigan.? ? ? Additionally, THE JOHN SHIPPEN National Men’s Invitational is set for June 21–22 at Detroit Golf Club. The champion of this event will earn an exemption into the PGA TOUR’s Rocket Classic (June 25–29).? ? ? We invite you to join us for these significant events that celebrate and elevate diversity in golf. Mark your calendars!?

Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day! At THE JOHN SHIPPEN, we are committed to creating opportunities for black women in golf. Since our inception in 2021, we have proudly offered 15 exemptions to our tournament winners to compete in the LPGA. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment that empowers female athletes to pursue their passions and achieve their goals. Let's continue to champion diversity and support women in sports!?

Reflecting on the year, the continuation of THE JOHN SHIPPEN's mission stood out as the most significant achievement. It's truly inspiring to contribute to creating opportunities in golf for Black men and women, ensuring that John Shippen's story is shared and his remarkable legacy is preserved. This legacy is an integral part of both Black History and American History. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the players, spectators, and sponsors who made 2024 a reality. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year!

This year, The 2024 JOHN SHIPPEN Business Summit was nothing short of a success, marking a significant milestone as we expanded both our reach and impact. With a new venue and a dynamic audience, this year's summit was truly a celebration of growth, community, and opportunity. To the students of Alabama A&M and all who attended: thank you.
