The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts转发了
Earlier this year we announced that after 14 years, our board chair David Rubenstein would be stepping down in January 2025. Since that time, a search committee of the Board has been meeting to identify his successor, prioritizing someone who would lead with the same collaborative spirit as David. This week the committee recommended that - in light of upcoming key projects such as our celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence - David continue in his role as Board Chair, completing his term through September 2026. I am pleased to share that David accepted the committee's invitation. I know David's ongoing leadership will provide a solid foundation from which our national cultural center will further evolve and grow. How lucky are we to have the opportunity to continue working with David, and I thank him for his willingness extend his leadership role. I look forward to all our community will achieve together!
