Last week, five JCF volunteers served 65 meals to the women of the Helen Wright Center. It was a cherished opportunity to share a meal with the women of our community and show them that they are valued. As Beverly Carroll, JCF Board of Directors, shared, "I love spending time with these incredible women who never cease to bless me with their courage, hope, and resilience. It matters deeply to me that they know they matter, and that they are seen and celebrated right where they are." #JCF #LoveandJustice Urban Ministries of Wake County

According to available data, the cost of living in North Carolina has increased significantly since 2009, with estimates showing a rise of around 41% in the cost of living compared to 2009. This increase is largely attributed to rising HOUSING costs and other essential expenses. Homelessness can happen to anyone.
