We were honored to host The Honor Foundation - Eglin Campus and their Group 95 cohort on their recent trek visit to The Island Resort! The Honor Foundation is dedicated to empowering members of the Special Operations community as they transition from military service to the next chapter of their careers. During this visit, we shared insights into our organization and culture, beginning with an in-depth site tour, followed by an engaging panel discussion with 8 members of our team, many of whom are veterans. The event wrapped up with a social hour, where attendees had a chance to connect, share experiences, and build new professional relationships. We're proud to play a small part in supporting those who have served and to contribute to this inspiring program. Happy November from The Island! ?? We’re kicking off the month with a little celebration - Congrats to our Reservations Team for winning the 2024 Staff Pumpkin Decorating Contest! ?? It was a close call, with so many awesome entries, but their creativity took the top spot. This was such a fun way for our team to get into the fall spirit together.

The Island Resort won "Best Staycation Property/Resort" and is described as a 333-room paradise with two pools, a grotto swim-up bar, five on-site dining options, and the opportunity to meet Misty the Mermaid.
