Tomorrow marks 32 years since The ILC opened its doors to immigrants and refugees in our community. From dusty chalkboards to face masks, from fun field trips and new friendships in our former theater program to online classes during the pandemic, we’ve adapted to the times. But our mission? That will always stay the same. Nearly 13,000 students have passed through our doors, learning English and acquiring skills to build successful lives in the U.S. Here’s to many more years of giving immigrants and refugees a voice in our community!
