Removing barriers for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant.
关于我们
The mission of the Icla da Silva Foundation is to save the lives of patients with diseases whose only cure is a bone marrow transplant by providing financial, emotional, and logistical support to remove barriers to treatment. Our goal is to ensure that more patients are able to receive their transplants by removing barriers. Leveraging 30 years of experience, we provide patients with information about treatment options in plain language. We connect current patients with survivors for emotional support, and help them navigate the complex healthcare system. Through our IclaCares program, we are providing critical financial support. We assist low-income patients and their families with expenses not covered by insurance, including transportation to receive treatment, meals, accommodations, and caregiver expenses during treatment. You can help us save more lives by supporting our mission.
