It is with deepest fondness and gratitude that HAN remembers Paul Frison, the "Godfather of Houston Innovation," who recently passed at the age of 87. Paul was a founding member of HAN along with other Houston business leaders including Rod Canion, Ben Mayberry, Dennis Murphree, Kerry Brooks, Kirby Attwell, Jeff Beauchamp, Benjamin Brochstein, and Joseph L Trahan. Others instrumental in the launch of HAN were Blair Garrou and Marc Nathan. ? “Paul was very instrumental in the development of the startup culture in Houston,” said former HAN president Ben Mayberry. “He provided a close alliance between HAN and the Houston Technology Center… Paul had boundless energy and enthusiasm for startups but was also able to provide measured perspective.” Indeed, the very qualities of a great early-stage #ventureinvestor. https://lnkd.in/g-UHzAWJ With Andrew Clark, Mitra Miller, Samia Ahsan, Mary-Helen O'Leary, Eric Schneider, CFA, Eric Alfuth, Brad Burke, Richard Scruggs, Andy Roehr, Kala Marathi, Houston Technology Center ....
