The Hillman Group recently held our annual supplier conference! Approximately 100 suppliers from 12 different countries were in attendance. Suppliers for all Hillman businesses attended, including our most recent acquisition, Intex DIY. The team emphasized the major themes of the conference with real world examples of growth and efficiencies that have been achieved in the business and that set the precedent going forward. The conference ended with the presentation of service excellence awards and vendor of the year award. #BuiltHillmanStrong

As we continue to celebrate 60 years of business, our Distribution Centers and other offices joined in on the celebrations too! Last month, we were honored to be joined by former Hillman leaders, Mick and Rick Hillman, and have them share stories of the past. The Forest Park City Manager and Mayor were also in attendance and presented Hillman with a proclamation, declaring September 19, 2024 "The Hillman Group 60th Anniversary Recognition Day" in the City of Forest Park. Each business unit then placed special Hillman items and products in a time capsule that was buried outside our CSC. This is a day we will be sure to remember for years to come! Offered once per year by the Hillman Leadership Institute, the Emerging Leaders Program is a full day in person event for 20 high potential individual contributors who are on track for a future leadership role. The program builds leadership skills, increases Hillman specific business acumen, provides a holistic overview of leadership career paths available at Hillman, and forms cross functional relationships that seek to engage, develop, and retain participants. Following the heartbreaking destruction left behind by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton in the southeastern US, our Hillman teams continue to step up to the plate during this time of dire need. Assistance has included working long hours, expediting multiple deliveries, and servicing countless stores and bays to help our associates and customers. We have also donated product and cleaning supplies to assist with the cleanup efforts. Helping those in need is deeply engrained in the Hillman spirit. We are proud of the way our employees have showed up for their teams and customers, and our hearts remain with all those impacted by these natural disasters. #builthillmanstrong
