We’re thrilled to announce that the Health Wagon will be hosting our annual Drive-Through Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway TODAY, Friday, November 22nd from 1pm to 5pm at the Dickenson Center for Education and Research (818 Happy Valley Dr, Clintwood, VA 24228)! ?? We will be giving out ready-to-make Thanksgiving dinners that include mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, dressing, cranberry sauce, gravy, Food City meat vouchers, etc. Available for giveaway are additional food boxes with mixed grains and non-perishables, household goods, and MUCH more! All while supplies last; first come first serve! We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing partners and donors who are making this event possible. Special thanks to Luanne Picinich, Feeding Southwest Virginia, Food City, Dickenson County Board of Supervisors, United Breast Cancer Foundation, and our volunteers for their generous support - your dedication to our community will ensure that families receive delicious holiday meals this Thanksgiving! This November, the Health Wagon is proudly participating in No Shave November — a movement dedicated to raising awareness about men's health, particularly cancer, and encouraging self-care and regular health check-ups. ???? Why We Participate: Cancer affects millions, and by growing out our beards, we’re not just embracing a fun challenge, we’re also sending a powerful message about the importance of early detection, healthy living, and supporting those who are affected. Every beard, mustache, and unshaven face represents a step toward breaking the silence around health issues and encouraging important conversations about well-being. ??
