The Ground Up Project: San Diego is a student-led, nonprofit, humanitarian organization dedicated to addressing social issues, both locally and globally. With a focus on alleviating the challenges posed by the housing crisis and high living cost of San Diego, we have also responded to humanitarian crises worldwide. Since the project’s inception, TGUPSD has coordinated a range of impactful initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable communities. The project has organized and hosted multiple successful initiatives to mobilize donations from the local community to send essential supplies to individuals and families across the state and around the world. We have so far been able to serve two countries outside of the U.S. With your help, we could extend our initiative further. tgupsd.org

    We're thrilled to share that The Ground Up Project will have reached over 2,100+ lbs worth of donations since our organization's inception by the end of the week! This achievement is a testament to the incredible generosity and support of our community, volunteers, and partners. We thank you for being a part of this journey. As we continue our efforts, we want to remind you that our statewide drive with Minorities in Politics (MIP) is ongoing until this Friday, March 15.
