ANOTHER AFGHAN FAMILY RESCUED! Earlier this month we were finally able to see two years and 11 months of hard work pay off with this family of nine finally arriving in the U.S. There have been many struggles over the years, but prayer and persistence have been the key factors. We at the GBNT Group continue the mission to evacuate our abandoned Afghan Partners. Although it is a slow and frustrating process, we are bolstered by the victories we experience along the way. We remain committed to our Afghan Allies who stood by our side when we needed them most. Now, we stand with them. All who work within the GBNT Group are unpaid volunteers, top to bottom. Every dollar donated goes towards supporting our mission. I want to send a special thanks our small group of doners who have been faithful in their giving and prayerful support. Everyday, we work to support our At-Risk Afghan Partners with food and housing. We negotiate to pay "fines" to secure the release of those who have been captured and sentenced to death. We also help acquire emergency visas for those under extreme duress and then transport them to safe-haven countries. Yet, all too often, many of our Afghan Partners fall victim to the Taliban's continued campaign of revenge. To try and reduce the number of those falling victim to the Taliban's tyranny, one of our long term goals is to establish a multi-family complex in a safe-haven country. This facility allow us to move our most at-risk families to a country where they can wait in a secure environment for their Special Immigrant Visa cases to become interview ready. If you feel led to support our mission or want to spread the news about what we are doing, please visit/share our website at www.gbntgroup.org. Again, thank you to all our partners who helped make this rescue possible. LIBERATE THE OPPRESSED! Another former Afghan Allied Soldier was killed by the Taliban in Kunar Province late May. He will not be forgotten. We at the GBNT Group continue to work to keep our At-Risk Afghan Partners alive. We do this by providing for their basic needs (food & shelter), acquiring essential paperwork (passports, birth certificates, etc..), advocating for them to the State Department, etc... We do all this while they wait and hope that their Special Immigrant Visas (SIV's) are approved. Sometimes we are able to move those who are under focused Taliban threat to a safe-haven country but that path is very expensive for a small organization like ours. All of it is a bit overwhelming at times but we persevere and continue the mission. Consider joining the cause and making a single or recurring monthly contribution to help us with our monthly needs. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS GO TOWARDS HELPING OUR ABANDONED AFGHAN PARTNERS. INFACT, OUR SMALL STAFF DOES NOT TAKE TAKE A SALARY OF ANY KIND, QUITE THE OPPOSITE, WE ARE THE PRIMARY CONTRIBUTORS. If you would like to contribute, go to www.gbntgroup.org Together we can,"Liberate The Oppresed!"
