Yesterday, author Steve Metzger visited The Goddard School of Manhattan (Murray Hill) to read “Curious Blueberry the Carousel Horse” to the students. The children loved hearing about Curious Blueberry and her carousel animal friends who learn to find joy through curiosity and questions. Cues for the reader to ask open-ended questions throughout the story enable an engaging and individualized experience for each child. In addition, the book features guidance for families to practice inquiry-based learning—the foundation of our Wonder of Learning? education program—at home. The Goddard School of Tustin, CA, is now open! This is the first location for co-owners Preeti and Abhijit Patel. The Patels have partnered with Jasmin Patel and seasoned Goddard School franchisees Parina and Jesal Mehta, who also own The Goddard School of Lake Forest (Baker Ranch), CA. “Our mission is to cultivate a love for learning in our students, fostering confidence and curiosity in every child in a safe, nurturing environment,” said Preeti. “Given the increasing demand for high-quality early childhood education in the Tustin community, we are thrilled to offer the Goddard experience to local families.” The school is hosting a grand opening celebration this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will feature a balloon artist, face painting, school tours and more.
