?? Call for contributors: Help shape the new IRIS+ waste management theme. Waste management is a critical industry for driving positive environmental and social outcomes, from reducing pollution and protecting natural resources to improving public health and creating more sustainable economies. Impact investors play a vital role in advancing solutions that minimize landfill use, improve waste collection and mitigate pollution. To support investors in assessing the effectiveness of their waste management investments, the GIIN is developing a new waste management theme for IRIS+, in partnership with Circle Economy Consulting as the theme partner and supported by the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) at The Aspen Institute. IRIS+ is a practical tool that provides investors with standardized metrics, evidence-backed outcomes and guidance to measure and manage their impact with rigor and consistency.
