We are happy that the first community foundation in Albania, made possible through the generosity of diaspora donors, has become a reality. This weekend, some members of the GERMIN team had the pleasure of being hosted by Leonard Olli, the coordinator of the Kor?ar?t Ndihmojm? Kor?ar?t Community Foundation in Kor??. Launched last year by The Global Albanians Foundation, the Kor?ar?t Ndihmojm? Kor?ar?t initiative was inspired by Dr. Yvonne Naum, a 90-year-old philanthropist based in Seattle with roots in Kor??. This foundation supports local organizations that work with various societal groups. Over the past three summers, OriginAL has had over 140 participants, and OriginAL plans to bring 200 Albanian Diaspora Youth for a once in a life-time experience in 2025. ??
