Community, resilience, resourcefulness — the list goes on when we think of the many lessons we can learn from Black history. As a community of innovators and creative thinkers, we here at GIANT are incredibly inspired by everything the Black community has contributed and continues to contribute. In times like these where DEI and education are at stake, it is extremely important that the children of today learn about the contributions of marginalized communities, and that their accomplishments are not erased. We invite you and your family to get inspired by Black innovators, artists, and changemakers with these activities. We chose these figures because of all of their hard work and dedication to not only pave the way for the Black community, but also for change and advancement in our world. Take a look at our most recent blog post for hands-on Black History Month activities for the whole family! https://lnkd.in/e4tzjejS

In case you missed it, this school year GIANT has been partnering with Lysol? on their Here For Healthy Schools program! Back in August, we made the announcement that Lysol? and The GIANT Room were?launching Lysol? Minilabs Science Kits for Title 1 first and second grade classrooms. These kits were co-designed by both educators and families. Their input heavily influenced the activities, work-flow, and efficiency of the kits. We would like to thank all of those who helped us out. Your input is what helped to bring these kits to life! Now…*drumroll please*....we’ve asked participating teachers for their feedback and the results are in! We are so excited to share. Read all about it on our blog! https://lnkd.in/g36UkCna
