The Ghostlight Stage Company is a brand new nonprofit theater company and arts organization in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Ghostlight Stage Company is just as the name suggests. Similarly to how a Ghostlight in a theater is a constant reliable source of light at all times regardless of if the theater is open or not, we hope to be that for our community of artists and our patrons alike. With a commitment of always hiring 80% of all teams for any given project to be made up of local Greater Cincinnati professional artists, we are a company for the community BY the community. We believe in accessible, affordable art for all to enjoy, mentoring and fostering young talent, unique community-engaging art experiences and theatrical productions with inclusive storytelling ranging from reinventing old classics for the modern audience to cutting edge new works.

We just wrapped up a whirlwind 48 hours and we can not thank you all enough. From everyone who shared, commented, liked, donated….from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making what we do possible. This type of work takes a village and we are so grateful to have such a strong one.?? In just 48 hours, we were able to raise $4,530, which is now going to be matched by a generous donor to make $9,060!! ?? Your generosity helps us to have a successful 24/25 season full of interdisciplinary arts programming that inspires and educates.?? We plan to offer “pay what you can” tickets to all events, making it possible to experience professional art no matter your budget.?? We plan to offer ASL Interpretation, as well as other accessibility services for every production, regardless of if it’s a one-night-only event.?? We plan to pay all artists fair competitive rates for their time and talents.?? And we are able to work towards all of these goals, thanks to the generosity of our community.?? ArtsWave?awarded $326,690 to 49 organizations working to create or expand a wide variety of projects – from youth art programs to the Cindependent Film Festival – across Greater Cincinnati. The Catalyzing Impact grant program is done in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
