This year’s VA250 in Williamsburg, Virginia, where 440 attendees from 37 states came together for inspiration, heartfelt discussion, and planning. #va250 #commoncause
Preparations for commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence are well underway. This week at “A Common Cause for All” in Williamsburg we were treated to an incredible lineup of speakers. Most inspiring was retired Virginia Supreme Court Justice John Charles Thomas, who reminded us that while our nation has a very painful history, the ongoing revolution is still very precious and worth fighting for. The standing ovation he received was genuine and sustained and some even stood with tears. I hope the speech gets posted online at some point so others can share in the inspiration. #va250 #commoncause
