Halloween is such a fun time, but it’s always good to think about safety too! If your kids are heading out to trick-or-treat, especially if they’re going without adults, encourage them to stick familiar, well-lit areas in groups. Giving them glow sticks or a flashlight can make them more visible, and suggesting they cross streets at crosswalks could help them stay safe around cars. When the candy haul is over, it’s time for the all-important candy inspection! Check that everything is sealed and toss anything unwrapped.
