Meet Edgar Jimenez, Food & Beverage Director at The Fitzgerald. Edgar brings an extensive career as a Food & Beverage Director to our community that spans over three decades. Throughout his impressive tenure in the industry, Edgar has consistently showcased leadership prowess, optimized operational processes, and driven growth. Widely respected within the senior living community, Edgar is recognized for his unwavering commitment to excellence and forward-thinking strategies. Edgar is originally from Colombia and refined his expertise in hospitality and management at the esteemed Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Our partner @The GLOBE Program is an international science and education program that promotes scientific literacy and builds connections between those passionate about the environment. The GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) Program aims to increase environmental awareness, increase scientific understanding of the Earth, and support improved student achievement in science and mathematics. The Fitzgerald will continue to participate in special events with GLOBE, where our residents can connect with the program’s global community.

Our partner, The Phillips Collection, creates an innovative space where art generates dialogue and self-discovery among visitors. The museum is home to one of the most celebrated Impressionist and American modern art collections in the world and continually adds contemporary voices to its collection. The vast impact of The Phillips Collection is led by experimental exhibitions, award-winning education programs, and dynamic events. The Fitzgerald is a proud member of the Palisades Community Association (PCA). The PCA has been a critical component of Palisades since 1916, evolving into a true neighborhood support system that fosters community connections and engagement. By hosting street parties, organizing one of the region’s most prominent Fourth of July parades, and arranging the farmer’s market right next to our community, the PCA brings the people of our community together. The PCA also has a community fund where residents can apply for grants to grow programs or events that benefit Palisades residents.

Our partner, Founding Farmers, shares our passion for bringing people together and making celebrations memorable. Founding Farmers lives out this mission through elevated catering with food and drink made from scratch with ingredients from farmers they know and trust. As a part of our partnership, Founding Farmers will provide The Fitzgerald cocktails and mocktails for our special events. They also hope to join us for one of our signature “Celebrity Chef Nights” in the near future.

Our Art of Living Well Director, Jennifer Soss, was recently featured in Stroll Magazine.
