First Tee – Western New York is a chapter of First Tee, an international youth development organization.

To encourage and inspire positive values and healthy choices in the next generation of Western New Yorkers through the experience of golf. The First Tee Life Skills Experience is a unique experience where participants learn life skills and healthy habits through the game of golf. This is not your traditional junior golf experience. We approach our participants holistically, considering how the program will make a positive, long-term impact on them not just through the game, but in all areas of life. The The First Tee Life Skills Experience is divided into five levels, starting with PLAYer for new participants ages 7 and up, progressing through Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace. As participants certify in both golf and life skills within each level, they progress to the next level of the program. Each level of the Life Skills Experience is seamlessly integrated with our golf skills programming.

Get ready for an exciting, high-energy event on April 26, 2025, at the Seneca Babcock Community Center in Buffalo, NY! From 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM, girls of all backgrounds will come together to build confidence, embrace movement, and develop healthy habits. This fun-filled day will feature four awesome exercise stations where participants will rotate through yoga/stretching, basketball drills, SNAG (Starting New at Golf) Suit exercises, and a thrilling obstacle course! With snacks to keep energy levels high, the event will kick off with a warm welcome and a discussion on the importance of staying active. Coaches and volunteers will lead the way, offering encouragement and inspiring each girl to push her limits. As the day wraps up with motivational speeches, everyone will leave feeling empowered and ready to take on the world! Come join the fun and be a part of this inclusive, supportive community!
