After 33 remarkable years at First National Bank, Sue Norton is set to retire today, February 14th, 2025. From her beginnings in institutional investing to her influential role in community banking, Sue has been a pillar of strength and dedication. Her leadership has not only shaped our bank but also positively impacted the communities we serve. "Sue has led with integrity and vision, leaving an indelible mark on the organization and the community banking landscape," shared Tony McKim, President and CEO. "She is not only a great banker, but a great Mom and a great community member. She will be missed at First National Bank." In retirement, Sue plans to continue her community service and enjoy personal pursuits like yoga and exploring the Maine coast. Her advice to future bankers? "Be prepared for a lot of change." She also shares, "Always leave things better than when you got there." Join us in celebrating Sue's incredible career and wishing her well in the adventures ahead.
