I wanted to share this because we don’t talk about the power of collaboration enough!
When I began to build The Female Farmer Project?, my vision was simple, but my dreams were big! I aimed to harness the power of visual storytelling to capture public attention, reach policymakers, and reshape perceptions about the people growing our food.
Over the years, the platform has evolved to elevate the voices of not only women farmers -- but also my fellow photographers, writers, podcasters, and filmmakers.
I've been fortunate to collaborate with incredible talents like Amy Wu supporting her "From Farms to Incubators" project, Jo Arlow and her "Stories of Healing" series, which shines a light on military veterans, Greta Hardin and her podcast "The History of American Food," and Rebecca Drobis with her "Future of Farming is Female" series.
These collaborations have enriched The Female Farmer Project? and amplified the diverse voices in agriculture, showcasing the transformative power of working together.
I invite you to check out these collaborations - or as I like to call them, 'cross-pollinations'! And please reach out if you would like to collaborate on a project!
