??? The Events Raccoon Ltd was at International Confex in London this week! ?? The day started with a great content session delivered by Matt Grey of eventdecision ? & Gina Kay Mash Media for International Confex. The topic up for discussion was “Sustainability: Are we being honest about our impact”. Which was a real impactful message to deliver on a first topic. Very informative! ?? After that, time to walk the floor & make some new friends with Event Trees for amazing decor, Clownfish Events with their entertainment & gamification, Paper Lounge - Sustainably Designed Furniture who sell some really quirky sustainable event furniture then finally, our personal favourite, CTW Events who offer Team Building that really gives back to the local community. ?? A quick tea break with one of our favourite clients who we bumped in to & then we were off again seeing some of our long standing industry friends & discussing live enquiries at De Vere, Lime Venue Portfolio, Leonardo Hotels & Red Carnation. Finally it was super exciting to catch up with the team at Olympia & get booked in for our hard hat tour with them ready for the reopening this year! Beckie Towle Kelly Tregale

???? Access Morocco certainly did not disappoint us last weekend ! Back from a 4-days trip in Morocco. 4-days where we have had the chance to visit so many incredible venues that could be of a perfect fit for our conferences and incentives events. ?? Not only we’ve visited some of the most incredible sites in Marrakesh, but we also had the chance to experience thrilling activities such as; Hot air balloon ??, Camel ride in the desert ???, Side cars in the beautiful Old Medina ??? . And on a cultural side; the iconic YSL Museum or even the colorful Majorelle Garden ?? MASSIVE thank you to Andre Van Der Bijl & Wayne Redman for inviting The Events Raccoon Ltd to this trip, to La Mamounia Marrakech for welcoming us throughout our stay, and to Adam Rzane, CIS, CITP for having built an unforgettable experience from A to Z. First event of the 2025 year! ?? The Events Raccoon Ltd was at De Vere - Cotswold Water Park this week to organise the iconic Company Update and Ignite, In the Room event alongside the The Access Group team ?? We’ve had 3 amazing days of planning, delivering and celebrating their internal leadership teams, and our goal was to make this event another unforgettable one! Grateful to work alongside great people and strengthen the relationship built throughout the years. When the days and weeks go by, the to-do list feels never-ending, and the "I'll just do this first" mentality takes over your life. It becomes easier and easier to neglect yourself. So, if you are reading this, I want you to find a small moment today just for you to take a breath and remember you cannot pour from an empty cup! As we gear up for our super summer, we raccoons know it is important to look after ourselves and each other mentally and physically. Burnout is no laughing matter! As active individuals, we wanted to share with you "Our Mindful Moments" and what we can do as a team to feed this forward. Our Mindful Moments: - Beckie's happy place is walking her best pals (Ozzy & Taylor) through the rolling fields. The wide-open spaces bring her calm, peace, fresh air, and the ability to disconnect from the busy world. - Kelly's passion is running, rain or shine. She loves the way running gives her the ability to disconnect and just focus on her breathing and the beautiful Bath countryside. - Holly loves to lose herself in a big fat book with a glass of wine. She loves how books can focus her mind away from the everyday to either environmental issues or far away magical realms. ?- Estelle dreams and finds inner calm in her hometown where she loves to wander through the woods and reconnect with the nature around her, taking time to appreciate the life of the woods. Our Feedforward – Team office days will include: ·???????Micro mindfulness sessions (5–10 minutes of yoga, meditation, workout, or breathing exercises) ·???????Meadow meetings (utilising our beautiful countryside location for morning meetings) ·???????Scheduled reflection time (pencilling 10 minutes uninterrupted diary time to contemplate on your week what worked well, what didn’t and how can we help each other next week) ·???????Picnic lunches (laptop-free lunches, picnicking in the meadow, spending downtime together) .
