Having just returned from a two-week, three-city speaking engagement with the Entrepreneurial Leadership team at #TecnológicodeMonterrey, I find myself deeply inspired by the experience. Engaging with such a forward-thinking and dedicated group of educators reaffirmed the critical role of entrepreneurial mindset education in shaping the future of learning. Drawing on key concepts from my new book, #TheEntrepreneurialMindsetAdvantage, we explored how to move beyond traditional managerial paradigms to create learning environments that foster opportunity recognition, problem-solving, and adaptability—skills essential for all students, regardless of discipline. Discussions on redefining entrepreneurship, embracing discovery-based learning, and fostering student autonomy resonated deeply, reinforcing the urgent need to rethink how we approach education. One of the most impactful aspects of this journey was witnessing the openness and enthusiasm of the faculty. Their willingness to challenge existing structures and experiment with new approaches underscores a growing recognition that entrepreneurial thinking is not just for business students but a vital competency for all learners. As you can see from the pictures, my experience was enriched by reconnecting with old friends, forging new relationships, and, of course, enjoying incredible food, including grasshopper tacos! Moving forward, I am optimistic about the potential for lasting change. By continuing to integrate these principles into curriculum design and faculty training, Tecnológico de Monterrey is positioning itself as a global leader in entrepreneurial education. I look forward to seeing these ideas take root and evolve in the months ahead.
