At first glance, this picture is unremarkable - a fan in a foyer, conducting a pressurization test. Two factors that change the context: 1. The building that the foyer is attached to is a 3 story, 22-unit senior living project encompassing over 275,000 cubic feet of conditioned space. 2. The fan has the B-ring installed, and is having no trouble maintaining a 50-Pascal pressure difference for the entire building. Serving as the BECx provider on this one has been a great exercise in collaboration over the past two years, working with the architects, GC, and the owner to achieve (and soundly exceed) the initial project target of 0.05 cfm50/SFBE.
