Leadership Women, the esteemed national program devoted to fostering women leaders, has announced the 2023 classes for Leadership Texas and Leadership America. This year, the program proudly includes 21 accomplished women from El Paso. The 18 women selected for Leadership Texas, including notable leaders such as Melissa Lopez and Sonny Gomez, will join peers across the state in visits to Houston, Abilene, and the Rio Grande Valley. These visits aim to enhance their leadership skills through networking and community engagement. Meanwhile, the three exemplary women chosen for Leadership America—Imelda Maynard, Vanessa Solis-Cortez, and Inaam Ziyadeh—will embark on journeys to Boston, New Orleans, and Denver. These trips are designed to provide broader insights into national leadership landscapes. The announcement was celebrated at a welcoming reception held at the YWCA Joyce Whitefield Jaynes Branch, underscoring the significance of empowering women leaders. ?? Leading women from across El Paso gathered to inspire and motivate high school girls. The Emerging Women of Impact event, hosted by El Paso Inc., aimed at empowering participants through mentorships, new friendships, and speakers. U.S. Rep.
