What struck me most about the conversation last night that was hosted by The Economic Club of Chicago was that even though David Axelrod & Bill Kristol have different political perspectives, there was a genuine respect, admiration and friendship between them. Let’s hope that we can continue to disagree without being disagreeable. Thanks to Thomas South , Mary Ekmalian and Kevin Boyd for joining the SDI Presence team (Hardik Bhatt & Dawn Nash Pfeiffer ) for this timely and insightful conversation.

On Thursday September 12, the IMD Commission was proud to host the The Economic Club of Chicago at the Old Cook County Hospital Building now Hyatt Place for a Member Exchange event. ?? Guests enjoyed IMD-inspired cocktails and got a behind-the-scenes look at the interior and exterior of this iconic and historic building, including the medical museum on the first floor (open to the public) and old surgical theater. ??? Last night, The Economic Club of Chicago hosted a great exchange with Kevin Warren, CEO of the Chicago Bears and club chairman, Sean Connolly. Topics ranged from culture change and #NIL to the prospects for a new stadium in Chicago and private equity investment in National Football League (NFL) teams. It was hard to leave the room not feeling bullish about the upcoming season! #GoBears
