We're on a mission to inspire our youth to impact their communities while discovering and pursuing their passions. Kids have the innovation and fire to create meaningful social impact in their communities. All they need is an opportunity. At the Dragon Kim Foundation, we offer three programs to initiate social change through youth leaders. Dragon Kim The Dragon Kim Foundation was established in 2015 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by Grace and Daniel Kim to honor the memory of their late son Dragon Kim, a passionate artist, scholar and athlete.

Dragon Kim Foundation is honored as a PBS SoCal Local Heroes nominee for 2024! It’s great being recognized for the great work we do in the various communities. The investment we make into young leader’s projects get reinvested right back into their communities! In 2024 we funded 60 projects with 132 student leaders. They did amazing work: recruiting 718 volunteers; logging 17 thousand volunteer hours; and directly impacting 16,800 lives. Can’t wait for DKF9’s impact in 2025! Come join us.
