The Denver Hospice was honored to host Dr. Hiroaki Ambo and students from Yamagata Prefectural University of Health Sciences in Japan. After touring our inpatient care center and meeting with members of our team, they commented that they were impressed with The Denver Hospice's respect among staff and our authentic commitment to care. "Today, we learned about the various initiatives and ideas that make up hospice care, and we will take these concrete ideas and innovations back to Japan with us," stated Dr. Ambo.
