Open 24/7 for members and their guests, this expansive 6,700-square-foot space is located on the second floor of the Clubhouse and offers a comfortable, well-appointed workspace for up to 100 members. The workspace consists of two primary areas. A Library offers a quieter environment with a traditional setup of communal tables and chairs. The Lounge offers a variety of seating options geared more toward social interaction with leather couches and armchairs surrounding low tables. A fireplace at each end, paneled walls and vintage rugs firmly anchor the space in the traditional club aesthetic. The Denver Athletic Club is excited to be hosting the?2024 Family Frontline Foundation Mile High Open. This will be the event of the year in Colorado! Not only will there be athletes from all over the Nation playing in their respective divisions, but we will also be hosting?the top women racquetball athletes from across the World, to kick off their season on the LPRT (Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour) ? We have partnered with an incredible non-profit, The Family Frontline Foundation, who we will specifically be raising funds for the youth initiative to support kids whose parents are veterans or first responders who have suffered from trauma while serving. Meet USBG Bar Summit Speaker Dr. Amanda Berger, PhD Amanda Berger, Ph.D. is the Vice President of Science and Health at the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States. She is a seasoned public health expert with nearly 20 years public health experience, working for a range of federal, nonprofit, and private sector clients. At DISCUS, she advocates on behalf of the distilled spirits industry for U.S. policies and global actions that are evidence-based and grounded in sound science. Dr. Berger engages with federal, international health organizations, and public health professionals. She also oversees DISCUS’ MyPlate National Strategic Partnership to disseminate the recommendations of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Dr. Berger earned her Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of Maryland, M.A. in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University and B.S. in Psychology and Cognitive Studies (dual degree) from Vanderbilt University. She completed a National Academy of Medicine post-doctoral fellowship at FDA in Regulatory Science and Communication.
