AAOS 2025: Key Takeaways from the Floor Just returned from this year's AAOS meeting (#36 for me.???) and wanted to share some observations with my orthopedic colleagues: While attendance seemed lighter than previous years with notably fewer spine companies and generally smaller booth footprints across the board, the quality of engagement was exceptional. Surgeons who attended were genuinely interested in meaningful conversations rather than just collecting swag. Orthobiologics was undeniably the star of the show this year! The innovation and interest in this space continues to accelerate. The overall energy was fantastic despite the reduced numbers - perhaps even enhanced by the more intimate setting that facilitated deeper connections. This created an excellent B2B environment with more productive partnership discussions. One persistent challenge: the event remains prohibitively expensive for smaller companies without booths. Badge-sharing continues to be commonplace as many find the entry cost barrier too high. A highlight was certainly the OrthoPitch event - well-attended and tremendously popular. Dr. Dragoo did an outstanding job hosting, creating an engaging platform for innovation. For those who attended - what were your impressions?
