Congratulations again to Mass General Hospital (MGH) and Mass General Brigham (MGB), home of the recently-launched Neurotech Justice Accelerator at MGB, a Dana Center for Neuroscience & Society. This effort aims to improve equitable access to beneficial neurotechnologies and to mitigate the associated risks in medical and legal settings. Over the past two days, I had the great pleasure of meeting Marcela Del Carmen, MGH President, Bob Carter, MGH Chair of Neurosurgery, and Bob Kingston, MGH Chief Academic Officer. They are fantastic partners of the Dana Foundation, sharing a vision of brain science for a better future. I also had the opportunity to attend an enriching workshop on positionality and reflexivity in community-engaged neuroscience research (pictured below with the in-person attendees) at Assembly Row, a state-of-the-art MGB facility where the Dana Center is now based. Dana Center trainees participated in the workshop along with co-directors, Theresa Williamson, Francis X. Shen, and Gabriel Lázaro-Mu?oz PhD, JD and other participants in the center, John Duffy, Ph.D., Emily Rodríguez, and Craig McFarland. The future looks bright with this next generation of neuroscience leaders. #neurosociety
