I’m ‘muy excited’ to be heading to Chicago this June for the Latino World Travelers / Latino Travel Fest. We’ll be talking about the #Latino travel market and what makes us #Latinos some of the most resilient travelers - and why travel brands and destinations need to listen up to who we are and why we travel. Travel brands and destinations, the invitation is open, please join us - or better yet, sponsor this grassroots, community and creator event. Use code DAN15 for 15% off your registration. Register at www.latinotravelfest.com. Can’t wait to be there Vanessa Fondeur-Adams!

  • ?? Listen up and spread the word! A new BIPOC-led consumer travel research study is out, and we are so proud to be a supporting partner because our stories, needs and motivations matter. CODE & NOMADNESS Travel Tribe have announced the launch of "Traveling in Color: The 2025 Traveler Identity Consensus," an urgently needed follow up to their 2020 survey, exploring the intersection of identity and travel. This initiative aims to understand how factors like race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and disability influence travel motivations, preferences, experiences, and spending habits. The survey closes on March 27th, 2025, is designed to take just 10-15 minutes to complete. By participating, travelers who journeyed in 2024 have the unique opportunity to share their stories and insights while entering for a chance to win one of two incredible trips to destinations of their choice, courtesy of Intrepid Travel. ?? 2025 Traveler Identity Consensus Survey has dropped, and we need you! Important, and we won't bury the lead: We're going to need 15 minutes of your time today! (It could win you a free Intrepid Travel Trip...stay with us) The follow up to our 2020 BIPOC Travel Consensus Data survey has JUST OPENED... and we need you all to take the survey. When launching this in 2020, during COVID, everyone was at home. We know life is moving at the speed of light in this moment -- but this industry needs our voices! Our stories. And part of our stories, is our data. We had 5000 people fill this out in 6 weeks in 2020. Not paid focus groups -- real life travelers -- just like you and I. Asking for two clear things: ??15 minutes to fill the survey out. ??And a share on your social platform with the link below. 15 minutes and a share. That's all. ??Take the Survey: https://lnkd.in/e22cwNbU Why This Survey Matters: Numbers don’t just show where we’ve been, they shape where we’re going. This survey isn’t just about what we spend or where we travel. It’s about: ??Proving our influence. When decisions are made about travel marketing, investment, and access, our data ensures our voices are included. ??Shaping the future. The more we understand how we travel, the more we can push for programs that support us. ??Celebrating our movement. BIPOC travel is about joy, discovery, and community. Our numbers tell that story in a way that can’t be ignored. This is where we lead the conversation. We did this before, and the impact was real. Now, let’s do it again. Bigger and better. Candidly, you see what's happening to diverse conversations across industries. We need to have #'s to speak to this moment in travel history, effectively and accurately. We need your help! Please take the survey, and share with your communities! ??Take the survey: https://lnkd.in/e22cwNbU At the very end of the anonymous survey, you will be forwarded into a separate form for a chance to win one of two free Intrepid Trip (up to $2000 each) spots, with our partner. We'd like to send a huge thank you to Miles Partnership, Tripadvisor, and The Culturist Group for supporting this survey as well! To participate you must: Be 18+ years old and have taken at least one leisure trip in 2024. That's it.

  • It's enough to get to do the work we love, with the people we love. It's a whole other thing when the top travel marketing awards acknowledges the work, too. Cheers and congrats to our partners at Tour Cayuga, Karen Kuhl, Claire Dunlap, CDTP for this #Adrian win. This work has been so celebrated, and rightfully so. The community and stories of Tubman's transformative energy and her impact on Auburn, NY and Cayuga County made architecting this message such a labor of purpose. Bravo Tommy Gomez, Kimberli Samuel, Brianna Vetrano - what a proud moment. ??

I was asked by VAX VacationAccess 'How I Carry On' for 'The Compass Magazine' by their wonderful Senior Editor, Jenna Buege. I had a great time recounting my personal/professional experience and journey in travel, and launching The Culturist Group, but most importantly I enjoyed sharing my thoughts on what travel professionals should do to remove barriers and create a more inclusive and prosperous industry. Now more than ever before, CULTURAL JOY needs to be harnessed, understood and celebrated as a way to open hearts, minds and keep us all focused on the power of human connection and the global travel experience. • Thank you TravelAge West for including our story and efforts in this feature. Grateful to our colleague Kimberli Samuel for sharing her first hand account of her life and the impacts of these fires on her hometown of #Altadena. We are still working to feature the #GoFundMe pages of families displaced by this tragic event, please consider donating today: https://lnkd.in/gnHGX6Ad “We just thought the coverage and social media narrative was a bit unfair, because not everybody in Los Angeles is wealthy or insured,” Guerrero said. “There's an amazing outpouring of resources, food, water, clothing for people who have been displaced. But at the end of the day, if you're talking about underinsured or under-resourced folks, they need money."
