I would highly recommend this next episode of The Courage to Lead Interview Series with our next guest Breda McCague. A close friend and colleague, Roxy Z., put Breda and I together as a must leader to interview on the show. The biggest question Breda poses to listeners is the privilege of leadership. When we are entrusted with people's lives in our hands, their feelings, their hopes and dreams, their career futures it is our absolute imperative that we must honour that privilege and lead in the best way we can. To do anything else is a total breach of that privilege and trust. Listen in via any of the links below. If you want to know the story behind the leader and his company Pont 3, who are responsible for Sydney becoming one of the 7 Major Marathons in the world, here is one of the first episodes of The Courage to Lead Interview Series with Wayne Larden. Wayne Larden is one of the most amazing leaders I have ever worked with. He leads a team who for several years now facilitate and action the Sydney Marathon every year, bringing so many organisations together to allow runners to cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of the start of the race and then finish the race at the entrance to the Sydney Opera House. No mean feat when you consider the workings of government. Have a listen to where Wayne came from and how he followed his passion of running marathons till Sydney became a major. Congratulations Wayne Larden and your Pont3 Pty Ltd team a truly proud day for you, Sydney and Australia. NB: please note this was one of my first podcasts for the Courage to Lead and my skills around audio were not that good for the first few episodes. An ever learning experience producing a podcast. https://lnkd.in/g_RGtaVi
