For the past 6 years the Philip Payton Society for Minorities in Real Estate has hosted the largest real estate case competitiion for students at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU). Registration for the 2025 edition of the HBCU Real Estate Case Competition is now open. So, if you are a student at one the nation's 100+ HBCUs and want to learn more about a career in commercial real estate, form a team (3-4) with your fellow classmates and sign up now! Registration will be open through the first week of February. There is $10,000 is cash prizes at stake! ?? ?? ?? As an added bonus, this year's finalist will present their final presentations at the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), annual spring conference in Dallas, TX. #CREF advisory board member Russell Galbut, managing principal at Crescent Heights, praised Florida’s Live Local Act for its innovative and effective approach to addressing the state's housing needs. He highlighted that the legislation is designed to expand housing availability, including much-needed workforce housing while promoting affordability and reducing traffic by situating housing where it is most beneficial.
