关于我们

We are a one-of-a-kind nonprofit organization that presents large-scale, high-profile panel discussions among world-renowned experts and celebrities, and community outreach programs including the Connecticut YOUTH Forum. Our mission is to encourage the free and active exchange of ideas in forums that inform, challenge, entertain, inspire and build bridges among all people and organizations in our community. Since 1992, we've welcomed over 400 brilliant, funny, and provocative panelists to the stage of The Bushnell theater to discuss everything from politics to food, technology to race, global affairs to music, and more before audiences of 2,800. Past panelists include: Michelle Obama, Malcolm Gladwell, Gloria Steinem, Fareed Zakaria, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, Karl Rove, Cheryl Strayed, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Patti Smith, David Chang and many others. The Connecticut YOUTH Forum began in 1993 with a handful of high school students responding to a CT Forum on “Race Relations.” The program grew quickly and organically and now engages approximately 750 teenagers from 35 public and independent high schools throughout Greater Hartford in dialogue and activities designed to reduce racial/socio-economic isolation, challenge stereotypes, and provide opportunities for leadership and experiential learning. • "What makes me optimistic is thinking about a historian 300 years from now who writes the history of the 21st century -- and it won't be about the rise of China, the rise of India, the rise of high tech, the rise of AI. All of those things are important. I think this century will be remembered for the rise of women. I so strongly believe that." -Admiral (Ret.)
