For all families with children on the Autism Spectrum, the challenges in finding inroad for themselves and their children is difficult. From programming support to financial struggles, social determinants increase the likelihood of concrete roadblocks for families to maintain or obtain financial stability. Because the Color of Autism looks at these challenges holistically, we know that overcoming these roadblocks is easier when we treat the whole family and empower parents/caretakers to dismantle and rebuild a new form of efficacy for themselves and their children.
